Self-Locking Cupping Forceps
Product Overview
Nature's Blends Self-Locking Cupping Forceps are heavy-duty stainless steel self-locking (ratchet) forceps specifically designed for fire cupping (hijama) therapy. The self-locking ratchet mechanism secures the forceps in the clamped position without requiring continuous hand pressure, allowing the practitioner to hold the alcohol-soaked cotton securely while igniting it and heating the glass cupping cup — keeping hands at a safe distance from the flame throughout the process.
- Stainless steel self-locking ratchet forceps
- Ratchet mechanism — holds cotton securely without hand pressure
- Designed for fire cupping (hijama) ignition technique
- Autoclave-compatible — suitable for repeated sterilisation
- Keeps hands safely away from open flame | Professional and home use
How to Use
Clamp a small, folded piece of cotton or gauze securely in the jaws of the forceps — the ratchet will lock it in place. Dip the cotton briefly in 70% isopropyl alcohol or BP-grade surgical spirit. Tap the edge of the container to remove excess alcohol. Ignite the cotton and quickly rotate it inside the glass cup to heat the air. Immediately invert the cup and press onto the skin. Always keep the alcohol container sealed and away from the flame when not in use.
